This page explains what personal data Christmas Tree Warehouse collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number and the details of what you bought. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers. If you create an account we store the same details so you do not have to type them again.
Why we use it
To process and deliver your order, to answer your questions, to handle returns, and to meet our legal obligations such as keeping accounting records. We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.
Who sees it
The courier that delivers your order, the payment provider that takes your payment, and the hosting company that runs this website. Each only receives what it needs for its part of the job.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years to meet accounting rules. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete the account.
Cookies
The site uses the cookies needed to run a basket and a checkout. It does not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@christmastreewarehouse.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
